Job Description BAE Systems Inc is seeking a talented AI/ML Engineer to join our Enterprise Integration team and contribute to enterprise-level complex business solutions. As an AI/ML Engineer at BAE Systems Inc, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge AI and machine learning enterprise-grade solutions to support integration, DBA, and data and analytics opportunities. We are looking for a skilled AI/ML Engineer with 8+ years of professional experience in building and deploying machine learning algorithms, with a focus on AI/ML and large language models. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. Responsibilities: - Own end-to-end solutions of design, develop, and deploy robust machine-learning algorithms, including large language models. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. - Conduct data discovery and analysis by cleaning, preprocessing, and transforming raw data into usable formats, ensuring data quality and integrity. - Produce visualizations and insights with the goal of communication to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Develop and train large language models using deep learning techniques, such as transformers and recurrent neural networks. - Participate in BAE Systems citizen developer programs centered around AI and become a resource for the system admin and integration services team. - Work closely with the existing AI/ML team at BAE Systems to leverage their expertise, share knowledge, and drive innovation in AI/ML solutions. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Education: - 8+ years of professional experience as an AI/ML Engineer, with a focus on generative AI and machine learning. - Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their applications in AI. - Experience with Agent + RAG system and its application in data science and AI. - Proficiency in Python/R programming languages and popular machine learning libraries such as langchain, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and others. - Familiarity with cloud-based services and solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Dataiku. - Experience with data mapping and modeling is a plus. - Graph experience is required, including graph databases, graph algorithms, and graph-based data analysis. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Education - Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field - Experience working with large datasets and high-performance computing environments. - Strong understanding of data modeling, statistical inference, and machine learning techniques - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Experience with Docker and containerization - Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines - Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and big data processing (e.g., AWS Glue, Apache Spark) Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $108787 - $184937 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, AWS, and related identity and cloud services. • Maintain and improve access management, permissions, administrative roles, and service account governance. • Support DNS, Cloudflare, SSO, SCIM, SAML, MFA, and related identity integrations. • Ensure systems are documented, supportable, and not dependent on individual knowledge. • Manage Windows and Mac endpoints through Intune, N-Central, Apple Business Manager, and related tools. • Support endpoint security deployments, including Arctic Wolf, Aurora, Defender, DNS Filter, Sysmon, and similar tools. • Maintain device inventory, compliance status, software deployment, patching, and endpoint readiness. • Administer and support core SaaS platforms such as 1Password, Slack, Zoom, Box, ClickUp, Smartsheet, Data Shuttle, Adobe, Verizon, Growrk, Allwhere, and related systems. • Provide direct support to staff for technical issues when needed. • Design practical, secure, and maintainable solutions for internal business needs. • Coordinate with vendors, MSPs, security partners, and implementation partners. • Create and maintain runbooks, system diagrams, access inventories, SOPs, and support documentation.

• Lead the design, development, and support of Workday integrations for multiple clients • Ensure seamless data flow between systems • Gather customer requirements, develop scalable solutions, and troubleshoot complex integration challenges • Provide new solutions through modification and implementation of existing software tools and platforms • Build, test and deploy integrations utilizing Workday studio, core connectors, BIRT and XSLT • Resolve day-to-day production support tickets for Workday integrations • Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management • Gather and create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle • Develop and maintain complex Workday reports including custom advanced, BIRT reports, matrix, composite reports and calculated fields and configure Workday business process steps • Assist team with integration security audits to ensure data integrity and system security • Perform regression testing on integrations during Workday releases • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate data delivery and data management • Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases

• Develop engineering solutions and explain technologies to customers. • Gather requirements and propose solutions including hardware, software, engineering, and Business Continuity services. • Provide recommendations on viability, implementation strategies and optimal implementation of solutions. • Develop design and system configuration based on technical requirements. • Develop scalable solutions for DC, LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewalls, and other network devices. • Develop scalable solutions for physical and virtualized compute (onPrem and Cloud) and storage solutions. (VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS). • Develop scalable solutions for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions. • Assess and design onPrem to Cloud (Azure/AWS) migration solutions including optimization, workflows, processes, and level of effort. • Prepare statement of work (SOW’s), level of effort and bill of materials (BOM’s) for projects. • Recommend enhancements/changes to system design as appropriate. • Identify, research, evaluate and implement emerging network technologies. • Provide oversight for configuration, installation and maintenance. • Provide documentation of requirements, design decisions, and ensure continuity with the delivery teams. • Train deployment/field engineers for on-site deployment/troubleshooting.
