DSN Scheduler

KBR, Inc.

• Perform overall scheduling of communications contacts with operational spacecraft missions through NASA’s Deep Space Network (DSN) antennas • Generate requirements using Request/Requirement & Control Language (R&CL) • Perform conflict resolution negotiation activities with all DSN users • Maintain spacecraft support requirements, flight view periods and scheduling constraints • Coordinate the delivery of accurate DSN view periods and other mission products • Prepare weekly scheduling status reports • Deliver plots, reports and schedule sorts as required • Maintain project interfaces with JPL as it pertains to scheduling • Operate (and test as needed) internet utilities and scheduling tools • Participate in process improvement activities

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Background in computers and application software including UNIX
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or equivalent
