Role Description BMA is seeking an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (OIG) to join our team. This is a fully remote role. Serves as a technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Identity Governance solutions that support enterprise security, business continuity, and operational efficiency. Provides technical leadership in identity governance architecture, risk assessment, automation, systems integration, and application development while supporting complex, multi-platform enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities - Designs, develops, and manages the implementation of risk assessment and business contingency planning frameworks, methodologies, and tools to ensure business continuity across a large, decentralized enterprise. - Supports multi-language, multi-platform, and multi-operating system environments. - Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies and software solutions to meet business and functional requirements. - Provides advanced technical guidance on automation solutions for complex information processing challenges. - Supports enterprise customers by implementing technology solutions that integrate business functions within open systems and client-server architectures. - Analyzes data processing requirements to design and implement Identity Governance systems that support projected workloads. - Plans the installation of new systems and modifications to existing systems. - Configures and manages computing environments to support scientific, engineering, and business applications. - Develops applications utilizing Identity Governance protocols and platforms. - Designs and deploys Internet-based applications using modern web technologies, communications protocols, and industry standards. - Deploys applications that leverage Internet standards to support secure access from diverse client platforms. - Integrates Identity Governance technologies, including LDAP directories, databases, operating systems, network devices, application servers (such as WebLogic and IIS), Identity Providers (IdPs), Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), and web- and API-based programming languages, including Java and .NET. Clearance Requirements - Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 (T3) background investigation at the time of proposal submission. Qualifications - At least ten (10) years of expert systems engineering experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) and/or Oracle Identity Governance (OIG). - Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or federal Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Access Manager, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Platform 12c or higher environments. - Experience supporting web-based applications hosted in a DoD Impact Level 5 (IL5) Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. - Knowledge of Oracle Middleware products, networking, Linux and Windows operating systems, and Java programming. - Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 (T3) background investigation at the time of proposal submission. As an EIR, you'll work closely with the 16VC team to: - Identify high-potential opportunities. - Validate markets. - Launch products. - Build companies from the ground up. - Potentially become the founding CEO or join the founding team of a portfolio company. What You'll Do: - Identify emerging market opportunities across AI, SaaS, fintech, and other technology sectors. - Generate, validate, and refine startup ideas through customer research and rapid experimentation. - Build MVPs using AI tools, no-code platforms, or by collaborating with engineers and designers. - Conduct customer interviews and gather feedback to iterate quickly. - Define product strategy, go-to-market plans, and early growth experiments. - Work closely with the investment team to evaluate new venture ideas and market opportunities. - Recruit early team members, advisors, and strategic partners when appropriate. - Collaborate with founders across the 16VC ecosystem and contribute to portfolio growth. - Present progress, insights, and recommendations to the leadership team. Qualifications - 2 to 6 years of experience building startups, launching products, consulting, product management, venture capital, or entrepreneurship. - Strong founder mindset with a bias toward action. - Comfortable working with uncertainty and solving unstructured problems. - Excellent communication and storytelling skills. - Highly analytical and customer obsessed. - Passionate about AI, emerging technology, and startups. Requirements - Previously founded or been an early employee at a startup. - Experience launching products from zero to one. - Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, automation, and modern software products. - Experience with no-code or low-code platforms such as Bubble, Lovable, Replit, Bolt, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar tools. - Product, engineering, design, consulting, or venture capital background. • Produce scoping analyses: IT systems and data/flow mapping, architecture assessments, technical and cost benchmarks, interviews and workshops, then synthesize findings and quantify target scenarios. • Contribute to the delivery of transformation programs: prepare architecture dossiers and scoping notes, build roadmaps and business cases, prepare committee materials and drive workstreams using progress dashboards. • Enable transformation and adoption: define target organization and governance models, migration and deployment plans, deliver POCs, set up support and training programs, and establish adoption plans and value measurement. • Foster the collective: knowledge management, recruiting, innovation, pre-sales and creation of reusable assets, in an environment that values rapid ownership and visible contributions.

• Define and own the global cyber security strategy, aligned to business objectives and risk appetite. • Provide senior-level leadership and act as a trusted advisor to the CTO, Operating Team, Board Cybersecurity Committee, and senior leaders. • Lead global planning, budgeting, capability development, and vendor strategy for all security domains. • Promote a strong security culture across all regions, embedding secure behaviors and accountability. • Lead the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS). • Oversee global risk management, including risk assessments, control selection, and enterprise risk reporting. • Ensure compliance with global cyber security regulations and industry standards. • Lead the development and maintenance of global security policies, standards, and guidelines. • Oversee third-party and supply-chain security, including vendor assessments and due diligence. • Lead global Security Operations (SecOps), including monitoring, detection, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management. • Establish and mature global CSIRT/CSOC capabilities, ensuring 24/7 coverage where required. • Act as executive incident commander for major cyber events, ensuring effective response, communication, and recovery. • Define and oversee secure architecture, cloud security standards, and identity & access management (IAM). • Embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including secure coding, DevSecOps, and product security reviews. • Partner with Engineering and Technology teams to ensure secure design, encryption, and access controls across all platforms. • Act as the senior representative for cyber security with regulators, auditors, customers, and partners. • Oversee responses to customer and partner security assessments and due-diligence requests. • Monitor global regulatory developments and translate them into actionable controls and programs. • Lead and develop global teams across security operations, governance, risk, compliance, and resilience. • Build organizational capability, succession planning, and specialist talent pipelines. • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across regions and functions.
