Role Description The Centralized Scheduler works under the supervision of the Director or Manager to schedule outpatient ancillary visits, the coordination of tests/procedures for Surgical Services, as well as Inpatient Discharge follow up visits. - Schedules patient visits through the completion of electronic request order. - Properly ensures patient safety by coordinating patient tests according to best practice. - Clinical experience preferred (i.e. LPN, physician's office personnel). - This position has no direct physical contact with patients. - Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
