• Coordinate and manage planning meetings (agile sprint ceremonies); • Be the primary source of information about the project's priorities; • Clearly specify the necessary items in the Product Backlog, assisting the business area in prioritizing items to maximize value delivery; • Define Product Backlog items and help achieve goals together with the business team; • Ensure the Product Backlog is visible, clear, and transparent to everyone in the company; • Optimize the value of work delivered by the development team, ensuring the value generated by each delivered request is clear; • Ensure the quality of product delivery, supporting the KPIs defined for the product.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with agile methodology:
  • Discovery techniques;
  • OKRs;
  • Writing user stories (US) clearly and concisely;
  • Task organization and backlog prioritization with business stakeholders;
  • Ability to run rituals such as refinement, planning, daily stand-ups, review and retrospective;
  • Breaking down user stories and tasks into atomic units.
  • Experience working in a hybrid role participating in teams as both Product Owner (PO) and Scrum Master (SM);
  • Previous experience as a software developer;
  • Experience in teams working on apps and corporate portals/sites;
  • WordPress;
  • Product ownership mindset, independence to solve problems and propose good solutions.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language;
  • SQL;
  • E-commerce and billing/charging systems.

Role Description The primary purpose of the Utilization Review Specialist is to create and manage the flow of revenue for each client through liaison with insurance companies. The Utilization Review Specialist establishes a file on all incoming clients with insurance and maintains authorization for reimbursement from pre-certification through continuing stay reviews through discharge or referral. The Utilization Review Specialist uses communication, reading and writing skills to establish the best, most accurate position of need for each client to ensure maximum reimbursement for care and appropriate reimbursement for the level of care being provided. The Utilization Review Specialist has skills in gathering information from clinicians, navigating EMRs, and creating cases for presentation. - Gather all information salient to insurance reimbursement. - Call insurance companies to obtain precertification or concurrent certification concurrent with the level of care. - Establish positive relationships with insurance providers. - Identify trends in reimbursements and report out to supervisor through verbal report and generation of graphics. - Work closely with all departments. - Keep accurate records of all transaction and communication with insurances. - Accurately transfer all information to the Billing Department. - Provides corrective criticism and peer review. - Reported to work as assigned and keep workplace professional. - Maintain acceptable overall attendance. - Promote a favorable/positive work atmosphere. - Maintains safety of the physical environment. - Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. - Independently solve problems and follow through. - Organize and function independently in an office environment. - Other duties as assigned. Role Description The Mortgage Underwriter III position requires a minimum of 4 years of current mortgage underwriting experience to include 2 years of government underwriting. Must be DE and SAR approved. Essential Functions - Validate the accuracy of all calculations and loan documentation provided. - Responsible for underwriting all mortgage loan types including all government loans. - Completes a thorough analysis of loan files to determine guideline compliance with Keesler Federal, GSE agency, and investor guidelines. - Analyze Credit, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Character to ensure the file meets guidelines and regulatory requirements. - Maintains service levels to provide established turn times. - Provides general guidance to Loan Processors and Loan Originators for loan file. - Assists in internal quality control, audit review issues, and responds to audit findings. - Stays updated on PMI, GSE, and Portfolio Loan Products. - Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Mortgage policies and guidelines. - Responsible for compliance with all Federal Mortgage regulations. - Proficient in all mortgage department systems related to underwriting. - Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. - Maintains knowledge of and adheres to Keesler Federal internal compliance policies and procedures. - Addresses loan issues in a timely manner to ensure an extraordinary member experience resulting in no disruption to closing date established at time of origination. - Mentor Mortgage Loan Underwriters I and II with loan decision-making. - Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Ability to Repay/Qualified Mortgage Rule and TRID. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. - Direct Endorsement Certification and SAR approval required. - Minimum of 4 years of current mortgage underwriting experience required. - 2 years of government underwriting experience required. - Advanced underwriting, advanced tax return analysis, advanced collateral assessment (appraisal analysis). - Expert knowledge with FHA Connection, FHA EAD, VA WEB LGY, USDA GUS, DU, and LPA. - Advanced ability to analyze complex income, assets, credit and collateral. - Advanced problem solving, analytical and resolution skills.
