Job Description
M&A & Transformation Consulting Manager
nepf LLC
• Support M&A integration programs end-to-end. • Support delivery of complex, cross-functional M&A integration initiatives from pre-close planning through post-merger stabilization as part of the Integration Management Office — project planning, stakeholder management, issue resolution, resource coordination, and decision documentation. • Accountable for outcomes, not just activities. • Be a trusted partner to our clients. • Build strong relationships with deal teams, integration management offices, functional integration teams, and executive sponsors. • Bring strategic perspective and hands-on execution to help clients navigate the complexity of integration — and then do the work to solve it. • Drive change that actually lands. • Develop and execute change management and communications strategies that address the people side of M&A — cultural integration, organizational redesign, and workforce transitions. • Go beyond the plan — understand what's blocking adoption and address it directly. • Develop the consultants around you. • Mentor and manage junior team members, giving direct, actionable feedback and investing meaningfully in their growth. • Contribute to nepf's growth.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of client-facing consulting experience, with meaningful exposure to M&A integration engagements, particularly from due diligence through post-close
- Proven delivery across the M&A lifecycle — pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close merger integration
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional integration workstreams at large organizations (5,000+ employees)
- Solid change management experience — you’ve guided organizations through real transitions driven by M&A, not just documented plans
- Experience working in global or multi-geography M&A environments with cross-border integration complexity
- A clear, confident communicator — you write well, present credibly, can read a room and are adept at building strong client relationships
Benefits
- Yearly Performance bonus: up to 10%
- 401(k): Employer match — 100% on the first 3%, 50% on the next 2%
- Time off: 20 days PTO + at least 10 Paid Holidays + 6 Paid Sick Days
- Health: PPO Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long-Term Disability
- Flexibility: Digital first, fully remote — no mandatory commute or office days
- Mentorship: Direct access to consulting leaders with Big 4 and top-firm backgrounds
- Growth: Monthly check-ins and twice-yearly reviews with clear, transparent criteria
- Team: Annual company retreat and regular team events
