*This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours. We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to shape how we bring our product strategy to market and drive adoption across both B2C and B2B experiences. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and how we measure and improve product adoption and growth. You’ll partner closely with Product and Marketing leadership to ensure what we build is clearly understood, differentiated, and adopted by the right audiences. You’ll create the foundation for Product Marketing—defining frameworks, processes, and ways of working that will scale across the organization—while also staying close to execution. This role is equal parts strategy and doing: you’ll shape the narrative, launch products, test and refine messaging, and directly influence adoption and growth. If you’re excited by building from the ground up and seeing your work drive real impact at scale, this role is for you. What You’ll Do: - Build the Product Marketing Foundation (0→1) Define the Product Marketing function, including positioning frameworks, GTM processes, and launch playbooks. Establish how Product, Marketing, and Content teams work together from early concept through post-launch. - Leverage Customer & Market Insight Partner with Research and Analytics teams to develop a deep understanding of users, buyers, and partners. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into clear opportunities for the product and business. Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform positioning and differentiation. Ensure the voice of the customer is consistently reflected in product and go-to-market decisions. - Shape Product Strategy & Positioning Partner with Product to influence roadmap decisions based on customer and market insight. Own product and feature naming, and establish clear, scalable naming conventions across the product ecosystem. - Own Product Narrative & Go-to-Market Translate product capabilities into clear messaging, value propositions, and use cases. Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches. Develop integrated, cross-functional channel plans in partnership with Marketing teams. Create core deliverables (e.g., messaging frameworks, launch briefs, enablement materials) and ensure they are adopted across teams. Partner with Brand and Creative teams to bring campaigns to life while maintaining clarity and accuracy of the product story. - Measure Impact & Improve Define success metrics for launches (e.g., adoption, engagement, conversion, lead quality). Analyze performance and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations. Create feedback loops between go-to-market performance and product development. What We’re Looking For: - 8+ years in Product Marketing or a closely related role - Experience operating in ambiguous or early-stage environments and building processes from the ground up. Strong at both strategy and execution—you can define the plan and bring it to life - Skilled at turning customer and market insight into clear positioning and messaging - Comfortable working cross-functionally and driving alignment across Product, Marketing, and other teams - Analytical and curious—you use data to inform decisions and improve outcomes - Experience across B2C and/or B2B products is a plus Compensation: This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Lead Product Manager, Enterprise API
BankrateWith five decades of trust and market leadership, Bankrate is transforming into an AI-powered fintech platform that puts consumers in control—connecting them to the best financial products to save more, earn more, and get ahead faster.
*This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours. As a Lead Product Manager for Enterprise API /Components, you will define the future of how enterprise developers build with our platform, owning the end-to-end roadmap for 1–2 product squads. You are a steward of long-term direction, responsible for ensuring roadmap coherence and execution health across critical B2B partner integration endpoints, including ownership of Partner SDK and Developer Portal, Component Library and design system integrations that power partner facing surfaces. What You’ll Do: - People Leadership: Manage and mentor Senior Product Managers (and below), guiding their craft development and team maturity. Demonstrate people leadership behaviors such as coaching and conflict resolution. - Partner SDK Strategy & Coherence: Own the strategy and roadmap coherence across API and Components squad, ensuring that individual initiatives align with the broader enterprise platform strategy. - Define the component architecture strategy — versioning, deprecation policy, and contribution model — ensuring the Component Library scales across multiple partner surfaces without fragmenting the design or engineering contract. - Operational Excellence: Establish operating rhythms and decision frameworks that enable teams to deliver consistently, prioritizing API versioning, stability, and high-quality developer documentation. Ensure alignment with enterprise-grade audit logs and reporting standards. Establish monitor and maintain adherence to API latency SLAs. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Engineering and Design leads on cross-team staffing and capability building to ensure the team has the resources and skills to succeed. - Execution Health: Ensure product quality, execution health, and partner alignment across your squads. - Ambiguity Reduction: Consistently reduce ambiguity for your teams and stakeholders by framing tradeoffs explicitly and synthesizing complex inputs into clear direction. - Contextual Domain Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the domain and users to serve as a trusted source of judgment for your team. Anticipate downstream effects and constraints. Use this expertise to guide your PMs' strategy and inform cross-team tradeoffs, rather than controlling their individual solutions. What We’re Looking For: - Strategic Horizon: Demonstrated ability to manage a strategic horizon of 12–24 months. - Talent Development: Proven ability to elevate PMs through coaching and clarity, raising their ability to scale across roadmap scope. - Organizational Design: Shows judgment on organizational design, role clarity, and team formation. - Systems Thinking around API and Components: Deep familiarity with developer platforms, API design, component library ecosystems — including token systems, versioning strategies, and the tradeoffs between flexibility and consistency in a multi-tenant or white-label context. - API Lifecycle Management: Experience governing the full lifecycle of an enterprise API: from endpoint design and versioning strategy, through release and changelog management, to deprecation workflows and migration support for downstream integration partners. - Component Lifecycle Management: Experience governing the full lifecycle of a component library: from contribution intake and design review, through release and changelog management, to deprecation and migration support for downstream consumers. - Multiplier Mindset: Behave as a multiplier for the team, not just a strategist, by contributing to better defaults and clearer standards. - Conflict Resolution: Experience mediating differences and resolving conflicts to maintain team health and alignment. Compensation: This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications. - Total Cash Compensation Range: $145,000 – $200,000 per year + equity Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements. - Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision) - Life Insurance - Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance - Flexible Spending Accounts - Holiday Pay - 401(k) with match - Employee Assistance Program - Paid Parental Bonding Benefit Program - Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO): We believe time to rest and recharge is essential.
