OCC Supervisor
Starlink Aviation
• Oversee Operations Control Center (OCC) activities to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements; • Coordinate flight operations, including flight planning, crew scheduling, aircraft assignment, and resource allocation, to optimize operational efficiency; • Monitor and analyze real-time operational performance, including flight departures and arrivals, delays, and disruptions, taking proactive measures to mitigate issues and minimize impact; • Maintain effective communication channels with pilots, flight crews, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and provide timely updates; • Collaborate with flight dispatchers, coordinators, charter representatives, and maintenance teams to manage operational disruptions such as weather events, aircraft maintenance issues, or air traffic restrictions, implementing appropriate solutions and contingency plans; • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards across all operational activities; • Foster the continuous development and improvement of a teamwork-oriented culture, facilitate open communication, and promote collaboration within the OCC and across departments; • Conduct quality investigations and implement corrective actions as required; • Stay up to date with industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements, and implement relevant improvements and innovations; • Support a global operational scope and international relationships, coordinating with regulatory authorities such as Transport Canada (TC), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to ensure compliance and the effective management of international flight operations; • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, including flight planning and industry best practices;
- Experience with customs regulations;
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in an aviation operations environment, ideally within an Operations Control Center (OCC);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English; additional languages are considered an asset;
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 operational environment;
- Proven experience in aviation operations, preferably within an Operations Control Center;
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, operational procedures, and industry best practices;
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in the use of aviation operations software, communication systems, and other relevant technologies;
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple flights and priorities simultaneously;
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 Operations Control Center coverage;

In this role, you will play a key leadership role onboard our vessels in the Atlantic region, overseeing the safe and efficient execution of a wide range of offshore projects. As an ROV Supervisor, you will lead, support and develop ROV personnel while supervising the operation and maintenance of assigned ROV Systems.
