Logistics & Inventory Coordinator
Outforce
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries, ensuring they are on schedule • Plan and optimize transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries and efficient use of resources • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers to negotiate rates, manage contracts, and build effective relationships • Monitor the progress of shipments, provide stakeholders with timely updates, and resolve any delays, damage, or issues that arise during transportation • Monitor and evaluate transportation costs to ensure budget compliance and identify opportunities to reduce expenses • Oversee warehouse stock levels, ensuring they align with company demand to prevent shortages or overstocking • Conduct regular inventory checks, cycle counts, and physical audits to verify stock accuracy • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records (ERP/WMS data) • Coordinate inbound stock receipt, ensure the proper, safe storage of products, and manage warehouse activities • Collaborate with sales, production, and purchasing teams to forecast inventory needs and plan replenishment orders • Maintain accurate logs and records of all inventory movements, shipments, and orders • Prepare and maintain essential shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations • Ensure all processes adhere to relevant industry regulations, export/import laws, and safety standards • Act as a central point of contact between suppliers, warehouses, internal departments (e.g., sales, production), and customers • Address customer inquiries regarding shipment statuses, delivery times, and issues promptly and professionally • Analyze current supply chain and inventory procedures and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and organization
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Inventory Coordinator or a similar role in the Retail industry
- Complete knowledge of inventory and supply chain processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
