Role Description We are seeking an experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join our Commodity Trading team. This is a fast-paced role responsible for coordinating export shipments and domestic logistics movements, ensuring contractual obligations are met while delivering efficient and cost-effective outcomes. This is a 25-hour-per-week part-time opportunity. We are flexible on location and will consider candidates from across New Zealand. Working closely with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, transport providers, and internal stakeholders, you will manage the end-to-end logistics process, supporting commodity trading activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex logistics challenges, and has a strong understanding of international trade and export operations. Key Responsibilities - Ensure export and domestic logistics activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with contractual and regulatory requirements. - Coordinate export shipments and domestic logistics movements from order confirmation through to delivery. - Prepare, review, and manage export documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, Letters of Credit, and shipping documentation. - Liaise with customers, shipping lines, transport providers, agents, and consignees to ensure seamless logistics operations. - Monitor shipment progress, resolve logistical issues, and manage risks associated with international and domestic transport. - Manage export-related financial administration, including invoicing and payment tracking. Qualifications - Proven experience in export logistics, international trade, freight forwarding, or a similar logistics environment. - Knowledge of Letters of Credit, international payment terms, and foreign trade requirements. - Experience coordinating sea and/or air freight shipments and managing shipping documentation. - Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship management skills. - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. - Ability to work with urgency and adapt to changing market and logistics conditions. I. Job Summary The Municipal Manager (SAE) is responsible for managing and growing an assigned municipal book of business by leveraging strong customer relationships, contract expertise, political and regulatory awareness, and cross functional leadership. This role acts as the primary point of accountability for revenue growth, contract compliance, rate adjustments, business improvement initiatives, and strategic customer engagement with city staff and elected officials.
