Role Description An exciting opportunity is available for a driven and results-focused Appointment Setter to join a growing business development team. This is a fully outbound, cold-calling role suited to someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships from scratch, and generating new business opportunities. This is not a role where leads are provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying prospects, building target lists, engaging decision-makers, and securing qualified appointments. The Appointment Setter will play a key role in driving business growth through proactive outbound prospecting and appointment generation. - Researching and identifying prospective client companies. - Building and maintaining a pipeline of target accounts. - Conducting high volumes of outbound cold calls daily. - Engaging senior decision-makers including CEOs, Founders, HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Managers, and Operations Directors. - Qualifying opportunities and booking appointments. - Following up with prospects through multiple touchpoints. - Maintaining accurate CRM records and activity logs. - Consistently achieving activity, pipeline, and appointment-setting targets. Qualifications - Proven experience in B2B cold calling and appointment setting. - Strong lead generation and prospecting skills. - Experience sourcing and building prospect lists independently. - Excellent communication and telephone skills. - Resilient, persistent, and comfortable handling rejection. - Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven. - Experience using CRM systems. - Reliable internet connection and a professional home-working environment. Requirements - Make between 80–150+ outbound cold calls per day. - Introduce services confidently and professionally to prospective clients. - Handle objections effectively and maintain engagement with prospects. - Secure qualified appointments with decision-makers. - Keep detailed records of conversations, outcomes, and next actions within the CRM. - Work independently while managing daily priorities and targets. - Consistently achieve agreed KPIs and appointment-setting goals. • Manage and support a remote appointment-setting/reception team • Run daily team meetings and review booking performance, errors, workflow changes, and priorities • Oversee patient booking workflows across Monday.com and Zanda • Ensure new referrals, follow-ups, declined patients, cancelled appointments, and patients requiring rescheduling are actioned correctly • Monitor upcoming appointments, appointment confirmations, pharmacist schedules, route efficiency, gaps, duplicate bookings, and missing information • Review emails, missed calls, Zanda messages, and reception tasks to ensure nothing is missed • Track staff KPIs including bookings, reschedules, cancellations not rebooked, inbound calls, net gain, and overall performance • Coach team members on errors, workflow compliance, patient persuasion, and appointment-setting quality • Coordinate pharmacist availability and identify areas where more pharmacist coverage is required • Maintain clean, accurate operational boards and ensure patient records are updated correctly
