Role Description Manufacturer of pumps used by industrial and commercial clients, in food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, mining, construction, municipalities needs a regional sales engineer/manager. Sales of equipment can involve long sales cycles and complex contracts. An ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects at different points of lifecycle. - Work on business development and sales of equipment. - Build relationships with process engineers, maintenance, facilities, plant managers, purchasing agents at companies and organizations that pump liquids, semi-solids, waste, etc. - Determine how the purchase of new process equipment can help the customer save money, improve quality, etc. - Close multimillion dollar deals. - Provide feedback to senior management. - 75% travel in the Great Lakes/Midwest Region including Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Western New York. Qualifications - Bachelors degree is preferred, plus a proven record of successful, consultative, industrial sales experience, including strategic selling and negotiation. - Three to five years’ experience working in a mechanical/electrical engineering environment. - Proven track record calling on and influencing decision makers in an organization for the areas they represent such as operations, quality, business unit, product development, procurement, engineering. - Specific experience working with electrical submersible pumps and electrical control panels is preferred. - Please make sure your resume shows what products you sold and what kinds of customers you worked with. As our first IT Manager, you'll take full ownership of our IT function: - Fixing our Google Workspace environment - Building the policies, systems, and support structures needed to run securely and efficiently This is a hands-on role. You won't be managing a team on day one: you'll be doing the work. The right person has built IT infrastructure from scratch before, thrives in ambiguity, and understands that in a remote legal environment, reliability and trust are non-negotiable.
