• Responsible for Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Onto Innovation products • Install new tools • Completing both Engineering and Applications tasks • Respond to down tool situations and requests for Maintenance when required • Provide correct documentation requested and feedback to the US factory as needed • Provide feedback to sales team as required • Help provide possible leads for future sales • Provide Applications feedback for constant product improvement
Job Requirements
- Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Business
- Previous knowledge of equipment fault detection
- Experience in electrical, Mechanical and software
- Preferred experience in Semiconductor applications
- College/University degree in engineering
- Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting
- Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills
- Ability to efficiently utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Role Description Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction of structures and underground systems. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects. - Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility. - Plan and design structures, following construction and government standards, using design software and drawing tools. - Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications. - Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards. - Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to managerial personnel. - Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. - Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering-related field: Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Underground Tunneling and Construction Engineering. - 0-5 years experience (Field/Office Engineer or Engineer Intern). - Previous underground construction experience preferred. • Perform Commissioning installations, Preventative Maintenance, sophisticated trouble shooting, problem analysis and product specific service on Siemens product line. • Performs sophisticated maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc. • Must be proficient with use of various hand tools, torque wrenches, etc. • Ability to climb ladders, stairs as the need arises • Ability to lift heavy objects, bending & reaching as the need arises • Completes documentation of all work performed – Commissioning, Preventative Maintenance, Upgrades, trouble shooting, etc.
• Proficient in trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems as well as networks. • Able to precisely follow layout drawings and blue prints used in the installation of equipment. • Complete status (service) reports on a daily basis and expense reports on a weekly basis. • Managing the total equipment installation process at Customer site entailing use of hand tools, climbing, bending, stooping. • Operation, applications, software, and part programming capabilities, and customer training of such. • Regular travel within assigned territories. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
