Role Description The Performance Manager and Data Analyst II is essential to Aging and Disability Services, ensuring the County's compliance with key state and federal requirements, strengthening data-driven decision making, and supporting the integrity, accuracy, and usefulness of program information. Core duties and responsibilities include: - Leading the Older American Act Performance System (OAAPS) and Area Plan processes. - Providing insights to identify trends, address disparities, guide resource allocation, and improve service delivery. - Supporting audits, grants, and equipping staff with tools and training for high reporting standards. - Providing Contract Monitoring oversight of county, federal, and/or state programs. - Analyzing client-level and program-level data from various electronic databases. - Coordinating cross-program data collection, validation, reconciliation, and submission. - Developing dashboards, reports, visualizations, and technical/narrative summaries. - Supporting data infrastructure, integration, automation, and quality initiatives. - Leading quality reviews and staff training on reporting tools and compliance requirements. - Providing analytical support for grants, performance-based contracts, and strategic initiatives. - Supporting the development and analysis of program surveys. - Conducting analysis of survey responses to identify key themes and trends. - Developing and facilitating focus groups to gather qualitative feedback. - Performing other job-related responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Three (3) years of professional experience in data analysis, program evaluation, or process improvement. - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, etc.). - Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. - Graduate degree may substitute for one year of required experience. - Experience in a federal/state or local government environment is highly desired. Requirements - Ability to attend meetings or perform work at locations outside the office. - Occasional evenings and/or weekend hours may be required.
