Role Description The Communications & Content Governance Specialist III is responsible for creating and managing core CareSource messaging, narratives and content that complies with company policies, brand standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. - Develop and maintain a wide variety of communications content, including: - Key messaging documents - Thought leadership - Health communications - FAQs - Video and multimedia content - High-impact external communication materials - Internal resources such as leadership briefings and campaign reports - Coordinate, monitor and track external speaking opportunities and thought leadership commitments, materials and briefings across the organization. - Assist in the creation and maintenance of a suite of corporate materials, including core slides, fact sheets, and other communications assets. - Partner with business and marketing teams, as well as outside agencies, to support marketing and/or communications campaigns. - Coordinate with internal teams to leverage content and campaigns across internal platforms, including the company intranet, employee newsletters, and other relevant channels. - Collaborate cross-functionally to manage programs, evaluate effectiveness, and communicate campaign results. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with special projects, as assigned. - Perform any other job related duties as requested. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising/Public Relations, or a related field required. - Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required education. - Five (5) years of communications experience in corporate, product, or executive communications required. - Health care communications experience preferred. Requirements - Excellent attention to detail to deliver compliant, error-free content. - Excellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills. - Well-versed in multi-media communications platforms. - Collaborative partner with keen ability to effectively listen, distill information, think creatively, and deliver communications that drive results. - Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narratives. - Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external partners, including business and marketing teams, agencies, and consultants. - Excellent organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure timely execution. - Knowledge of state and federal communications requirements to ensure content meets all legal standards. - Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to think critically and creatively problem solve. - Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines. - Ability to work independently. Position Summary: The head of scientific programs is a senior leadership position reporting to the director of meetings. This role is critical for overseeing the comprehensive management and strategic direction of the annual and unit meetings’ scientific programs and abstract systems. The head of scientific programs is essential to the success of the APS Meetings Department and the broader organization’s mission. This position will lead the day-to-day operations of the Scientific Programs team. The head of scientific programs will collaborate closely with program committees and chairs during the development and maintenance of scientific programs. This individual will also collaborate with other department leaders (communications, marketing, information systems, meeting managers) to strategize on process improvement to achieve the optimal user experience for both the attendee as well as the staff.
