• Oversee the strategy, day-to-day execution, and performance of Solutions Engineering functions. • Lead a team of Solutions Engineers who serve as the technical bridge between Posit's product capabilities and customer outcomes. • Manage a high-impact team focused on scoped engagements (SOWs), specific use-case deployments, and critical account-level technical escalations. • Build and maintain playbooks, processes, and quality standards across all three functions. • Hire, coach, and develop individual contributors and team leads. Build a culture of proactive customer partnership and continuous improvement. • Define and track key metrics including Time-to-Value, CSAT, utilization, and project delivery quality. • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, TAM, and Product/Engineering teams to ensure seamless hand-offs, aligned customer journeys, and a strong feedback loop from the field to the product. • Serve as a senior point of escalation for delivery issues. Stabilize at-risk engagements and ensure lessons learned improve future delivery. • Champion the use of AI tools and automation across your teams — from AI-assisted scoping and documentation to LLM-powered customer workflows.

Role Description - Translate complex business requirements into efficient, scalable, and maintainable code solutions. - Leverage appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and libraries to build robust applications. - Design and implement resilient, high-performance system architectures that align with business objectives, considering factors such as scalability, availability, and security. - Develop comprehensive test suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure code quality and reliability; collaborate with QA teams to identify and address defects promptly. - Actively participate in code reviews to share knowledge, improve code quality, and ensure adherence to coding standards; provide constructive feedback to team members. - Manage and optimize infrastructure resources (servers, networks, storage) to support application performance and availability; implement automation to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management. - Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort, increase efficiency, and improve reliability, focusing on automating build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning processes. - Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to track system performance, identify issues, and optimize operations; utilize data-driven insights to improve system reliability. - Continuously analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities; implement performance tuning techniques to enhance application responsiveness and scalability. - Work with the team to translate business and product requirements into detailed technical specifications, architectures, and extensible code. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field. - Three (3) years of work experience in the position offered, as a Software Architect, or related occupation. Requirements - Experience with scalable, distributed, and cloud-native architectures. - Microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API (Application Programming Interface) design. - Design patterns, multi-tenant architectures, and high-availability systems. - Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or Go. - Experience with AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn). - Familiarity with modern backend & frontend frameworks (Node.js, React, Angular). - Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment) pipelines. - Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and NLP (Natural Language Processing) models. - Experience with vector databases, LLMs (Large Language Models), and generative AI applications. - Ability to align technical strategy with business objectives.
