Role Description This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator to lead and coordinate testing activities within a large-scale Workday and HR transformation programme. The successful candidate will ensure all testing phases are executed in a controlled, traceable, and quality-driven manner, supporting successful system releases and compliance with business and statutory requirements. Working within a global, multi-vendor environment, the Test Coordinator will be accountable for: - Test delivery - Defect management - Stakeholder engagement - Reporting - Overall testing quality throughout the project lifecycle Key Responsibilities - Test Strategy, Planning & Governance - Define, maintain, and communicate the overall testing strategy, including scope, approach, entry and exit criteria, and quality gates. - Develop and manage detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned to business, functional, and integration requirements. - Ensure complete test traceability through Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM). - Establish testing standards, governance processes, and quality assurance controls. - Ensure testing activities comply with project methodologies and organisational standards. - Test Execution Management - Plan, coordinate, and oversee execution across all testing phases, including: - System Integration Testing (SIT) - User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Regression Testing - Performance Testing - Monitor testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics. - Ensure testing activities are delivered within agreed timelines and project milestones. - Coordinate testing schedules across business, IT, third-party vendors, and project teams. - Identify risks and issues impacting testing delivery and drive appropriate mitigation actions. - Defect & Quality Management - Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including: - Logging - Triage - Prioritisation - Resolution - Validation - Closure - Ensure defects are accurately recorded and maintained within agreed testing tools (e.g., JIRA). - Facilitate defect triage meetings and collaborate with development and support teams to resolve issues. - Monitor defect trends and quality metrics, providing proactive recommendations to improve testing outcomes. - Escalate critical defects and testing risks to project leadership where required. - Stakeholder Management & Reporting - Act as the primary point of contact for testing activities across business and technical teams. - Facilitate testing workshops, status meetings, and stakeholder updates. - Produce regular test progress reports, defect dashboards, risk logs, and quality metrics. - Communicate testing readiness, risks, and outcomes to programme stakeholders. - Support business users throughout UAT activities and coordinate sign-off processes. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Test Coordinator, Test Lead, Test Manager, or QA Lead. - Experience coordinating testing activities within large-scale HR, HCM, ERP, or Workday programmes. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience managing SIT, UAT, Regression, and Performance Testing. - Strong defect management experience using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. - Experience creating test plans, test scripts, test cases, and RTMs. - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Experience working within complex, multi-vendor project environments. Requirements - REMOTE: EMEA, LATAM, APAC, India - Desirable - Workday HCM implementation or upgrade experience. - Experience within HR, Payroll, or Workforce Management systems. - ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Certification. - Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies. - Experience supporting global transformation programmes. Role Description The Regional Placement Coordinator (RPC) works with the Regional Career Development Coordinators and instructors to enhance employability skills and career placement opportunities for students, in accordance with DOL guidelines. Please note: We are seeking applicants in the Northeast and Southern region for this workforce development opportunity.
