Role Description The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the sales growth of promoted products in their approved indications. The incumbent is accountable for achieving or surpassing sales results aligned with the marketing strategies within their defined territory and respective regions. This will be done by working with Specialists, GPs, pharmacists, and other health care customers (allied health professionals including nurses, business managers) in their respective territory to ensure best patient care and management. - Deliver effective, targeted, customer-focused calls on GPs, Specialists, Nurses, Pharmacists, Business managers, and other key local stakeholders. - Identify patient flow cycles and business cycles in their territories, develop plans to address both. - Develop advocates and leverage the cascade of influence by focusing on the science and value of our products. - Identify the cascade of influence for high potential prescribing GPs and their vaccination practices. - Convince and gain advocacy with specialists on the science and value of our products. - Educate pharmacists in the area on our products to ensure scripts generated are filled. - Leverage Pfizer resources to implement standard protocols for screening and treating patients. - Maintain an in-depth and sophisticated knowledge of disease state and product. - Involve key team members from other functional areas into planning and execution. - Attend congresses including coordinating and executing CME and other learning programs. - Provide regular reports on progression of activities and performance. - Demonstrate Pfizer Values and Leader Behaviors, including adherence to Pfizer policy and procedure. - Identify and report adverse events and product complaints as per Corporate procedure. - Leverage technology and omnichannel resources to engage with clients. Qualifications - Strong customer-focused selling skills relating to specialized pharmaceutical, account management, and/or selling vaccines. - Strong scientific foundation and excellent communication, presentation, and account management skills. - Proven past record of performance. - Strong initiative with a positive and constructive approach to overcome challenges. - Strong team player who is highly organized and possesses strong interpersonal skills. - University degree in Science and/or Business. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the field of vaccines and/or in a specialty area. - Willingness to travel to support brand/territory requirements. - Knowledge of the AHS/SPIN selling technique platform, Pfizer systems and policies, and computer proficiency. - Experience in virtual engagement platforms such as Teams, Zoom, Webex. - Valid driver’s license. Requirements - Annual base salary ranges from $94,500 to $157,500. - Salary range applies to Canada only and does not apply to any other locations outside of Canada.
