National Account Project Engineer
Custom Mechanical Solutions
• Managing the commissioning of new HVAC systems and controls. • Follow up and communication of daily updates regarding field service and warranty work for large National Account customer(s). • Supporting CMS National Account team with production planning, team growth and structure plans, factory discussions and any additional needs that may be required within this growing team. • Provide troubleshooting and warranty support to customers and external service providers. • Facilitate/schedule customer/owner training on proper operation of equipment and preventative maintenance requirements. • Prepare daily updates of all outstanding issues and communicate to all necessary parties as required.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems and controls.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents (i.e., blueprints, mechanical and schematic drawings) and system documents (i.e., product specifications and procedures).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Passion for customer service.
- Proven ability to solve problems.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to produce results for the benefit of the company and customers while working independently without supervision.
- Ability to manage third party service providers.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions.
- Overnight travel up to 30% / Approx. week long trips
