Operations Analyst I

Careforth

Role Description The Operations Analyst I is both an internal and external-facing role. The Analyst will assess processes and data within designated systems and provide recommendations for enhancements in areas of data collection, process improvements, case audits, and operational results. This person will utilize a basic understanding of existing and changing business needs, processes, and data systems within the departments of multiple stakeholders within Careforth to support the organization opportunities and goals. Additionally, this role will be responsible for fielding inbound requests for support from Careforth’s existing caregivers and consumers, providing a high level of service and customer care. What You Will Do - Assist in researching operational and system workflows related to case management system, billing, prior authorizations, and branch level operations to identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations for change and design modifications as needed. - Manage inbound customer support requests via phone and email in a timely and professional manner. - Implement procedural changes meant to improve performance or efficiency in collaboration with function lead. - Track and manage progress of system and operational enhancements via electronic tracking system. - Identify risks and root cause(s) of issues through various types of analysis. - Assist in the development of an auditing method used to analyze departmental processes and share key findings and progress with management as needed. - Speak with key stakeholders and build operational knowledge; Work collaboratively to create operational workflow map. - Stay current on updates to systems and operational requirements. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred in a health care or related discipline. - 0-2 years of relevant experience in an operational role. - Strong Excel skills; experience working within multiple systems; experience in data analysis preferred. - Excellent customer service skills, including problem-solving over email and phone. - Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis required. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Understanding of medical billing. - Medicare and Medicaid experience preferred.
