• Conduct voice-of-customer research to identify customer needs and market opportunities • Define product requirements, develop business cases, coordinate product launches, and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to ensure successful product development and commercialization while supporting business growth objectives • Manage product lifecycle activities from concept through commercialization and optimization • Partner with R&D, operations, marketing, sales and other cross-functional teams • Gather and synthesize Voice of Customer insights to drive product decisions • Develop business cases, financial models and go-to-market strategies • Coordinate product launches and commercialization activities • Analyze market trends, customer feedback and business performance metrics • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across product portfolios • Present product strategies and recommendations to stakeholders across organizational levels • Support strategic planning and portfolio management activities • Travel up to 30%, including international travel
Job Requirements
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or related commercial experience
- Proven success in product lifecycle management from concept through commercialization
- Experience developing and executing product launch strategies and go-to-market plans
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop compelling business cases and financial models
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrix organizations
- Knowledge of relevant scientific/technical domain preferred for specific product lines
- Understanding of quality and regulatory requirements for applicable markets
- Excellence in gathering and synthesizing Voice of Customer insights
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision making capabilities
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Project management skills to coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives
- Customer-centric mindset with an understanding of market dynamics
