Job Description

Associate Director, Succession Management – Strategic Projects

• Provide strategic guidance on talent management initiatives across the enterprise. • Partner with senior leaders and HR teams to understand needs and shape recommendations. • Support the refinement and alignment of enterprise talent management practices and tools. • Synthesize insights and trends to inform decisions and future planning. • Ensure talent projects connect effectively to broader enterprise and HR initiatives. • Lead or support large-scale, cross-functional talent management projects. • Build clear project plans, timelines, risks, and resource requirements. • Manage stakeholder engagement and decision-making across functions. • Coordinate with communications, legal, and HR partners to ensure readiness. • Oversee vendor coordination and performance where applicable. • Partner with Digital Technology on Workday and other talent platforms. • Translate process needs into system functionality and improvements. • Support system testing, validation, and rollout of enhancements. • Promote data quality and reporting accuracy across talent systems. • Develop change and communication plans for talent initiatives. • Ensure HR teams and leaders receive training and enablement materials. • Assess readiness and identify adoption risks or barriers. • Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise succession practices. • Provide guidance on succession expectations, lifecycle steps, and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
  • Experience in talent management, HR strategy, or related fields, with strong exposure to succession or talent practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with senior leaders, HR teams, and technology partners.
  • Ability to convert business needs into clear process and system requirements.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Workday or comparable HR technology platforms.
  • Prior experience translating complex data into executive-ready materials.
  • Facilitation skills with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Role Description As an Associate Director, Product Strategy, you will help our clients define and deliver their product roadmap in an agile and data-driven environment relentlessly focused on driving superior business outcomes for our customers. As part of your responsibilities, you will lead a collaborative, cross-functional and high-performance team working with CX/UX designers, developers and senior management to guide products through to fruition and help teams build and enhance successful products that deliver a differentiated customer experience, meet the demands of the market and drive business results. - Responsible for driving transformation from outputs (projects) to outcomes (products) and shifting our ways of working to a product mindset (speed / quality / value). - Develop strong and deep understanding of the client organization’s goals and priorities, competitive market positioning and market differentiation. - Partner with internal stakeholders to identify new product ideas/concepts based on industry and market trend analysis. - Responsible for Product Ownership including problem framing, opportunities shaping, backlog management, development stages, and pilot & rollout planning. - Implement learnings to optimize product and operations to promote data-driven decisions throughout product lifecycle. - Analyze customer feedback and data to identify important issues that need to be addressed. - Foster product thinking, mindset and rigor through harnessing data-driven decision making and test-and-learn practices and methods. - Develop and test hypothesis partnering with Customer Research teams to generate objective evidence and leveraging data-driven decision tools and methods. - Establish a prioritization model rooted in organization’s market differentiation and strategic themes to prioritize feature, user stories and technology enablers, processes and policies based on customer needs, economic view and strategic implications. - Understand customer/user needs to define clear feature requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria. - Prioritize the program and team backlog based on assessment of customer and business value. - Partner with cross-functional team members (across engineering, design, data science, etc.) through design, development and testing of concepts, product features leveraging integrated fast learning cycles. - Monitor and report product performance against established KPIs/OKRs. - Build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners (Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, Engineering, etc.) and Leadership/Executive team to collaborate regularly ensuring continued alignment with vision, business needs and requirements.
