Business Systems Analyst

• Own and manage the end-to-end functional design for billing processes within Salesforce Billing. • Design and support scalable billing models for subscription, usage-based, and hybrid monetization structures. • Define invoice generation logic, proration rules, credit/debit adjustments, and billing schedules while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and financial controls. • Support the full quote-to-cash lifecycle (CPQ to Billing to Revenue), defining functional flows for contract amendments, renewals, cancellations, and mid-cycle changes. • Coordinate and validate data flows between Salesforce Billing and downstream systems including ERPs, revenue recognition platforms, tax engines, payment gateways, and entitlement platforms. • Partner with integration teams on API-based, event-driven, and batch processing solutions to ensure financial reconciliation and data consistency. • Convert high-level epics and business requirements into detailed user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria using Jira and Confluence. • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and functional clarification throughout delivery cycles alongside Product Owners and Engineering teams. • Act as the key functional bridge between Finance, Revenue Operations, Engineering, and Solution Architecture across multiple time zones. • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, troubleshooting invoicing discrepancies, payment failures, and system synchronization issues to continuously optimize billing performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong, dedicated focus on Salesforce Billing.
- Deep understanding of quote-to-cash processes, subscription billing, usage-based billing, invoicing, and financial reconciliation.
- Proven experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience integrating Salesforce Billing with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Exposure to automated revenue recognition systems (RevRec platforms).
- Experience with specialized tax engines, payment gateways, and financial compliance systems.
- Background operating in high-volume, enterprise-level billing environments.

We are seeking an experienced Hogan System Analyst to lead and drive business process transformation initiatives. This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational business system support for the core banking team. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver solutions that align with strategic objectives.
