AI Engineer - Agentic Applications, Mid/Senior

• Develop specialist agents coordinated by a supervisor, with agency loops (ReAct) and an auditable decision log. • Build MCP servers that connect agents to operational APIs (.NET) and ML models via OpenAPI contracts. • Implement the MCP Host using LangChain / Semantic Kernel and LLMs via Azure OpenAI. • Implement Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) for high-impact decisions. • Ensure agentic security: per-agent identity (OAuth2), tool-level scopes, idempotency, sanitization against prompt injection, and prevention of PII leakage. • Version prompts (PromptOps) and instrument agent observability (LangSmith or similar). • Integrate with event-driven architecture (Azure Service Bus / Kafka).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- English or Spanish proficiency (international client).
- Strong programming skills (Python and/or C#/.NET) — testing, contracts, version control, readable code.
- Experience building applications with LLMs: tool/function calling, agent orchestration, prompt engineering, and handling nondeterministic behavior.
- Systems integration: consumption and design of REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger), OAuth2 authentication, idempotency, webhooks/callbacks.
- Secure data access from LLMs — e.g., natural language → query with scope control, validation, and auditing.
- Familiarity with LLM application security: prompt injection, data leakage, and permission control per tool.

Role Description Under the direction of the Director of Technology Service Management, the Application Support Engineer is responsible for the daily monitoring, management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for all the software components of our hosted platform.
