Job Description

VP, Strategic Growth

INTRUST Bank

• Generate network pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking. • Identify, implement, and administer the Recruiting CRM for ULG. • Schedule 3+ qualified presentations per week for Senior Leadership. • Qualify prospects generated through outbound initiatives or marketing-driven inbounds. • Drive attendance to MSA and Loan Officers in and out of our footprint on the West Coast. • Act as a self-starter while leveraging cross-functional collaboration wherever appropriate. • Sourcing MSA relationships and Production candidates. • Work with ULG Leadership on establishing sourcing priorities and developing targets. • Develop and maintain relationships with ULG’s and University Bank’s internal and external recruiters. • Seek out and identify MSA opportunities where ULG conducts business. • Conduct regular and consistent follow-up with managers to determine the needs, plans and implementation of MSA and candidates in a predetermined market area. • Develop a pipeline of qualified candidates. • Research and recommend new sources of proactive candidates. • Conduct and pre-screen interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods. • Schedule interviews and provide timely follow up for ULG Leadership. • Be an ambassador of the University Lending Group brand.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree desired.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in mortgage related field; preferably sales management / recruiting experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of mortgage and home equity products and GSE underwriting guidelines.
  • Maintain & foster positive relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
  • Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while maintaining high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong sales, leadership and management skills are essential.
  • Mortgage origination experience required.
  • Sales oriented, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills, and have a strong desire to succeed.
  • Excellent customer service and follow up.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong team player, and self-motivated.
  • Strong knowledge of and usage of Ellie Mae Encompass/ Modex and Motivity.
  • Running Production reports.
  • MS Word, Modex, MS Excel & MS Power Point.
  • Create PDF files using company provided Adobe software.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information.
  • Able to effectively problem solve.
