This role demands hands-on leadership, technical excellence, and the ability to work independently without dedicated QA support. Key Responsibilities - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript or C#). - Champion Shift-Left testing by integrating automated tests early in the development lifecycle. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to embed testing into CI/CD pipelines. - Define and implement test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Mentor junior automation engineers and promote best practices in test automation and code quality. - Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement in test coverage and reliability. Qualifications - Proven experience with Playwright for web automation (TypeScript/JavaScript or C#). - Strong understanding of Shift-Left testing, TDD/BDD, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). - Solid knowledge of REST APIs, browser automation, and cross-browser testing. - Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
