Project Technical Specialist 1
GAI Consultants, Inc.
• Manage, design, and perform QA/QC checks related to technical activities • Development of Protective Relay Settings using AcSELerator Quickset and/or GE Enervista • Conduct P&C studies including short circuit analysis, relay coordination, and load flow • Review junior engineer’s designs, verify they meet client standards and specifications • Document QA/QC reviews, maintain record documents, and communicate information to the team • Mentoring and managing staff at all levels • Managing tasks on multiple projects in accordance with GAI’s high standards of project management
Job Requirements
- B.S. Engineering or other technical degree
- 10+ years of experience in Protection & Controls engineering
- Experience with Relay Settings
- Supporting substation and/or protection and control engineering projects
- High-voltage substation experience
