Principal Project Manager
DIRTT
• Serve as the senior project execution authority within DIRTT’s Project Execution organization • Lead the delivery of the company’s most complex and strategic projects • Establish execution standards across the project portfolio • Drive excellence in project controls, forecasting, risk management, customer satisfaction, and cross-functional coordination • Develop project management capability and resolve critical project challenges • Partner with Solutions Design, Order Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Installation teams for predictable outcomes • Lead risk identification, mitigation, and escalation efforts for high-risk projects • Establish project execution plans and facilitate schedule reviews and recovery planning sessions • Conduct regular project reviews to validate alignment between approved design and field installation • Support project accounting practices and controls
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive project delivery experience
- Recognized subject matter expert in project execution
- Experience leading strategic, complex, and high-visibility projects
- Demonstrated success coaching and developing project managers
- Experience driving process improvement and execution excellence initiatives
- Proven ability to influence outcomes across multiple functional groups
- Expert-level knowledge of the commercial construction, ideally within industrialized construction
- Deep expertise in forecasting, project controls, scheduling, and risk management
- Portfolio-level performance analysis
- Continuous improvement methodologies
- Organizational change management
- Advanced negotiation and stakeholder management
- Leadership without direct authority
