• Live Signal Energy’s core principles to achieve preferred selection by our customers by continually improving processes, products and services to ensure Signal Energy consistently meets or exceeds customer requirements. • Communicate effectively with a wide range of people including Signal colleagues from all departments, clients, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders. • Review commissioning requirements in upstream contract language from Signal’s clients for problematic requirements and consistency with Signal‘s internal commissioning standards. • Work with estimating and project management groups to ensure commissioning requirements are adequately planned (schedule) and budgeted for at the proposal stage. • Serve as the commissioning subject matter expert for Signal supporting Project Engineers, Project Managers, and other team members. • Communicate Signal commissioning practices clearly and effectively to outside parties including clients, AHJs, and sub-contractors. • Continue to develop and maintain commissioning documentation including a commissioning plan template and commissioning forms. • Integrate Cx procedures and documentation with Procore to improve efficiency of processes and ensure proper archival of Cx documentation. • Review, correct and answer Owner’s comments related to commissioning. • Manage daily Cx meetings with owners, vendors, sub-contractors, etc. • Prepare and approve checklists for commissioning tests. • Coordinate with Safety in preparation of SOPs for energized tasks. • Review forecasted Commissioning schedules in coordination with PMs. • Assist developing project specific Cx plans. • Assist project teams with scoping of Cx activities to appropriate sub-contractors. • Interface and coordinate with suppliers, including review of test plans, bill of material, factory testing, and schedule collaboration during commissioning. • Work with Project Engineers and Cx Superintendents to review all Cx documentation submitted by sub-contractors and resolve any issues. • Work with project engineers and Cx Superintendents to ensure each projects Cx requirements are met and all Cx activities and test results are properly documented. • Work with quality control to ensure smooth transition from quality to Cx. • Manage field Cx Superintendents. • Assist CMs and PMs in managing subs with Cx scope to ensure Cx is completed on schedule. • Work with Performance engineering to transition project from Cx to performance testing. • Travel to sites as necessary to personally manage Cx when necessary. • Provide guidance to CMs, field Cx staff, or subs in troubleshoot inverters, trackers, SCADA, combiner boxes, transformers, communications, POA, Met stations, soiling stations, control building alarms, substation, and ground faults. • Become Subject Matter Expert on the interconnection process for different Utilities and ISOs. • Support project teams in achieving ISO and Utility milestones where required (CAISO buckets, ERCOT interconnection, etc.) • Support and coordinate utility and ISO tests (Power Factor, Relay Testing, Telemetry) and PPC tests (AVR, PFR, Curtailment, etc) • Monitor progress of construction as it relates to the critical path for Commissioning.
• Coordinate all engineering activities for multiple concurrent projects to ensure design deliverables are developed in accordance with all project requirements. • Develop design-phase execution plans, monitor progress and address deviations to minimize impacts. • Ensure seamless integration of all design components, including civil, structural, electrical, SCADA and high voltage disciplines. • Own client interface for all technical issues throughout the design phase, ensuring timely resolution of RFIs, comments and potential change events. • Facilitate vigorous design reviews by all stakeholders, ensuring all design aspects are thoroughly vetted, deficiencies are corrected and comments are timely addressed. • Track and drive implementation of value engineering opportunities. • Monitor internal engineering hours relative to design progress and facilitate corrective action as necessary. • Interface with AHJs to ensure complete and timely permit submittals. • Provide leadership to and mentor junior team members. • Support 3 rd party consultant contracting efforts and build trusted partnerships.
• Implement and maintain Signal Energy’s cybersecurity program, policies, standards, and procedures. • Operationalize execution of cybersecurity initiatives aligned with recognized frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS). • Coordinate and track cybersecurity program activities, milestones, and deliverables. • Oversee and coordinate security operations activities, including vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring. • Manage 3 rd party vendors providing cybersecurity services and supporting the cybersecurity program. • Partner with IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, and Digital Product teams to embed security into systems and workflows. • Support identity and access management governance, including access reviews and role-based access controls. • Manage cybersecurity risk assessments, control testing, and remediation tracking. • Support audit activities, including control validation and evidence collection. • Drive vendor risk management and third-party security assessments. • Contribute to security awareness, training, and communication efforts across the organization. • Maintain cybersecurity documentation, metrics, and executive-ready reporting.
• Lead and support the execution of Signal Energy’s Quality program across multiple projects or large, complex projects. • Develop and maintain project quality plans, inspection and test plans, deliverables, due dates, and turnover requirements to comply with contract requirements. • Provide oversight, mentoring, training, and support to Quality Managers, QA/QC Inspectors, and subcontractor quality personnel. • Champion quality performance, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. • Ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with IFC drawings, specifications, approved procedures, contract requirements, and Signal Energy standards. • Oversee investigations of non-conformance issues, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and recurring quality trends. • Review and support subcontractor quality programs to ensure alignment with Signal Energy’s Quality Policies and Procedures. • Oversee project quality records, inspection documentation, test reports, NCRs, corrective actions, and turnover packages. • Serve as a senior quality escalation point for project teams, clients, owner representatives, subcontractors, and leadership. • Support pre-construction quality planning and incorporate lessons learned into future project execution.
• Oversee all electrical engineering efforts to ensure deliverables are submitted on time, comply with client and regulatory requirements, meet quality standards, and align with budget and constructability expectations • Conduct and review electrical engineering designs and studies to develop deliverables and act as Engineer of Record for one or more projects simultaneously • Lead, manage, and mentor the electrical design team on the technical delivery of PV and BESS projects • Develop, implement and continuously improve a robust set of design standards, templates and best practices • Recruit and mentor electrical engineering team members that embody Signal Energy’s Core Principles • Champion innovation and creativity in design tools, processes and plant technology to keep Signal Energy an industry leader in PV and BESS engineering, procurement and construction • Maintain knowledge of current and pending industry codes and standards; incorporate same into design tools and processes • Interface with clients and other stakeholders to optimize project design and value; be the go-to expert for technical solutions • Support pursuits with input on conceptual designs and engineering budgets • Support Operations through resolution of RFIs, field changes and other design-related issues, including technical evaluations of any proposed changes to project design requirements, material specifications or means and methods • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of civil, structural and high voltage design packages

• Oversee others in the performance of engineering calculations and studies/review results. • Work with subcontractors, other staff engineers and designers to perform all aspects of civil and structural engineering calculations and designs for substations. • Develop Finite Element structural models of structures and other steel design calculations such as connections and anchor rods. • Work with designers to develop structure design and fabrication drawings. • Develop calculations for reinforced concrete foundations, and work with designers to develop foundation design drawings. • Work with designers to develop site-work drawings including embankment preparation, drainage, and erosion control details. • Coordinate design issues with clients and vendors, including attendance at meetings and conferences. • Assure that all engineering documents and records are properly maintained. • Coordinate with purchasing and quality control personnel Provide engineering specifications and other information required by purchasing to procure equipment. • Review vendor submittals. • Coordinate with contract administrative personnel to assure client requirements are met. • Participate in development of less experienced engineers and designers.
• Create and revise protection/control drawings of high voltage transmission and distribution substations • Peer review of other’s drawings • Maintain drawing files – archived, current and working revisions • Update drawings to field as-built conditions • Provide project support/office support as required • Occasional travel to field sites or working at a client’s office may be required
• Assume responsibilities of an electrical engineer performing design of LV, HV, EHV electrical power systems • Coordinate project flow and issues between all engineering disciplines and project management • Provide engineering support to project management, procurement and construction on all stages of projects • Develop single-line switching and protection diagrams • Create equipment specifications and support procurement of equipment
• Manage AHV EPC Projects, specifically accepting overall project responsibility to ensure the overall success of the project • Direct oversight of all contractual and financial obligations to complete the project on-time and within budget • Perform and present all financial budgeting, billing, tracking and reporting of the Project • Develop, update and report on critical path project schedules • Lead project meetings to update and track the project progress • Work with Pre-Construction, Procurement, and Engineering to determine the best Procurement strategy, confirming complete and competitive pricing meeting of Project specifications • Proactively manage Engineering & vendor drawings to confirm all design packages are timely • Continuously communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure they are meeting the required contract dates • Oversee and resolve any project and vendor/subcontractor related issues • Coordinate daily with Site Managers to confirm items, quality, and quantities received agree with what was ordered • Participate in negotiations with vendors, sales representatives and subcontractors for materials, equipment and/or services to support budget and project specific requirements • Manage AHV’s relationship with clients, vendors and subcontractors to support successful project execution
