Job Description

National Accounts Manager – Piano Channel

Yamaha Corporation of America

• Successfully execute sales plans for assigned national accounts while maintaining a long-term relationship-selling approach • Manage and grow national account relationships • Drive outside sales activity • Maximize Yamaha product distribution • Identify opportunities for account expansion and market growth. • Ensure sales objectives are met • Execute sales and marketing plans • Resolve critical matters impacting assigned accounts • Ensure positive customer sales experiences • Maximize the effectiveness of channel partner interactions • Shape and execute account and territory sales plans • Evaluate product placement and market coverage • Assess and recommend training options for channel partners • Develop and maintain sales forecasting • Coordinate resources and support for demand generation.

Job Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the piano channel
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and/or Analytical software
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Proficiency with office productivity software
  • Travel up to 35%; including some nights and weekends
  • 3+ years sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working in retail or wholesale environment preferred
  • Tableau expertise preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
  • Live in New York, Los Angeles, CA, or Chicago, IL.
