SLED Systems Engineer
Extreme Networks
• Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account strategies and technical sales plans • Design and architect secure, scalable networking solutions aligned to customer business requirements • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) • Provide consultative guidance across networking domains including wired, wireless, security, and cloud-managed solutions • Support evaluations, solution validation, and competitive differentiation during the sales cycle • Develop technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution documentation • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders • Deliver customer and partner enablement through training, workshops, and technical briefings • Collaborate with product management and engineering to provide field feedback and influence direction • Support post-sales escalations as needed to ensure customer success
Job Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in systems engineering, pre-sales engineering, or related technical roles
- Strong expertise in networking technologies including switching, routing, wireless, and security
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectures
- Experience delivering customer-facing presentations, demos, and technical workshops
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex customer engagements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with cloud-managed networking platforms
- Background in high-density wireless design and optimization
- Exposure to automation, scripting, or API-driven networking
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CWNP, or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience

Role Description Astrion is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Parachute Systems to support NASA human spaceflight programs and advanced aerospace supporting Kennedy Space Center. This position provides Mission Assurance, Quality Engineering, and technical oversight support for critical parachute systems supporting crewed and cargo spaceflight missions, including Commercial Crew Program (CCP) vehicles and associated flight hardware.
