Senior Engineering Manager – AI Enablement, EHR Agents
Aledade, Inc.
• Manage and grow two engineering teams. Direct people management for ~7 engineers across AI Enablement and EHR Agents (mix of Staff Tech Lead, Senior FDEs, and Senior+ engineers on EHR Agents); coaching, career development, performance management, hiring. • Own delivery of two charters. Drive AI Enablement team execution against the AI Unlock program (marketplace, installer, gateway, education); drive EHR Agents team execution against the Athena lab-ordering and G-code billing roadmap; partner with platform and product leaders on cross-team commitments. • Coordinate cross-team delivery, dependency management, and go/no-go calls; run the operational rhythm (sprint planning, retros, status); be the named accountable owner. • Hire and onboard. Close 4 net-new AI Enablement hires (FDEs) and any EHR Agents backfills; run interview loops; design onboarding that gets new engineers productive in agentic-coding workflows fast. • Represent the teams up and across. Communicate progress, risks, and asks to the AI Platform & Innovation leadership team and broader Tech VP+ forum; partner with security, foundations, and AI Platform peers on shared infrastructure.
Job Requirements
- BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years total engineering experience including 3+ years managing engineers as a direct people manager.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams of 5+ engineers through delivery of complex software projects on production systems.
- Strong technical foundation — ability to engage deeply on architecture, code review, and trade-off conversations even though you are no longer hands-on day-to-day.
- Track record of hiring, growing, and developing engineers across levels (junior through senior).
- Experience leading delivery in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, or comparable) or willingness to ramp quickly on HIPAA constraints.

Role Description The Project Manager II is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and evaluating power Engineering projects in accordance with scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
