Finance Ops Lead

Role Description This is a remote position. Own key finance operations across Accounts Receivable, Record to Report, timesheet governance, and management reporting for an IT/service-based business. Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end AR: invoicing, collections, aging, dispute resolution, and cash flow follow-up. - Ensure accurate billing using timesheets, contracts, rate cards, and milestones. - Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis. - Maintain balance sheet schedules and support internal/external audits. - Oversee timesheet tracking, validation, and compliance across projects and resources. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards, often using Excel and manual data consolidation. - Partner with sales, delivery, HR, and leadership to resolve billing, reporting, and process issues. Qualifications - Strong AR and R2R experience in an IT/services environment. - Excellent Excel and reporting skills. - Experience with manual or Excel-heavy reporting. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. - Good communication and cross-functional collaboration.
