CAD Drafter

Role Description The CAD Drafter 1 will support NTS Engineering and process facilities with sustainable CAD drafting and drawing/design management activities, along with supporting engineering project needs across the company. - Work with Engineers and Salesmen to develop basic engineering plans and Sales drawings. - Prepare drawings from rough sketches, notes, marked-up prints, written/verbal instructions with CAD, and other design software. - Translate existing plans into NTS formats. - Develop new drawing methods/processes. Qualifications - High School Diploma: associate/technical degree preferred. - Minimum (1) one year's experience as a CAD drafter. Requirements - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT. - Basic knowledge of all NTS equipment. - Proficient in researching the current state of CAD practice. - Basic knowledge of the OSHA and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding.
