Role Snapshot Our Internship Program with WPS Health Solutions is comprised of two key components. The first component involves gaining practical experience to supplement academic coursework and prepare for future career pursuits. This will be comprised of a hands-on role within a functional area related to a relevant field of study. Each internship incorporates responsibilities and tasks which support the business objectives and client service offerings, while providing ongoing collaboration with experienced departmental colleagues and exposure to "real world" business demands. The second element centers on exposure to corporate culture and professional development: This Intern will support WPS ITIL infrastructure as part of the change control, major incident management, problem management, and disaster recovery cross-functional team. Pay rate: $20.00 ~ $22.00/hour The base pay rate offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Work Location Our first consideration will be to have this intern live in the state of Wisconsin to take advantage of Hybrid work and collaboration. Employees living within 45 miles of WPS Headquarters ( 1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI) will be expected to be able to be able to work Hybrid 3 days a week on a regular basis. **As a secondary consideration, we do offer remote work in the following approved states: Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin What you will do as an IT Infrastructure Intern: Review, support, and facilitate Requests For Change in the ServiceNow Platform Attend Change Advisory Board meetings and provide administrative support for the change control process, including following up on unauthorized changes Review, update and test department documentation and procedures Help develop disaster recovery plans, procedures, and documentation Assist in major incident response activities How do I know this opportunity is right for me?  If you: Have a strong interest in IT service management and are eager to learn about frameworks like ITIL that help organizations manage their IT infrastructure effectively.
