Role Description As a Data Analyst at USFS, you will be a key member of a team supporting federal clients. The role focuses on data analytics, report generation, and providing operational support as directed by the client. You will use your expertise in data analysis, particularly with Tableau and Power BI, to deliver insights and visualizations that support decision-making processes. There are multiple openings ranging from junior to senior data analyst positions. Key Responsibilities - Data Analytics and Visualization: Provide analytical support, including the development of dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI. - Strategic Modeling and Metrics: Offer strategic modeling, metrics, and analytical support to various U.S. Government agencies. - Cost Modeling Services: Support cost modeling and cost-benefit analysis for various projects. - Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Process Support: Assist in the POM process, offering data-driven insights. - Business Process Improvement: Analyze and improve business processes using data analytics. - Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) Support: Provide analytical strategy and support for ICE initiatives. - Records Management and Compliance: Manage records data, including FOIA declassification and records scheduling. - Training Reports: Generate monthly training reports, including supervisory training for both military and civilian personnel. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is highly preferred. - Experience: 3 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics or a related field. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization. - Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. - Python or other programming languages is a plus. - Strong skills in MS Excel for data analysis and modeling. - Soft Skills: - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments. • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and business reports for different departments. • Work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into clear dashboards and analytics solutions. • Build reports related to trading activity, client performance, sales performance, revenue, deposits, withdrawals, account status, and operational KPIs. • Develop clean and scalable data models in Power BI using Power Query and DAX. • Ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and aligned with business definitions and KPIs. • Support Finance, Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Management teams with reporting and data analysis requirements. • Validate data quality and investigate issues related to mismatched numbers, missing data, or incorrect calculations. • Work with data engineering or database teams to understand data sources and improve reporting reliability. • Optimize Power BI reports for better performance, usability, and refresh efficiency. • Document report logic, KPIs, data sources, and business definitions. • Support ad hoc analysis and business requests when required.

Role Description The Data Analyst is responsible for the conception and creation of reports, data visualizations, and data summarization/analysis within BI software suites.
