Senior Site Acquisition Specialist

Diamond Communications

Role Description The Senior Site Acquisition Specialist MUST be located in/or around a major airport. They are responsible for overseeing the site acquisition process for wireless communication facilities and related wireless equipment. This includes: - Preparing candidate information reports. - Negotiating leases and easements. - Reviewing legal transaction documents. - Managing zoning and permitting applications. The specialist will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance and timely completion of projects. This position requires a deep understanding of telecommunications industry practices, site acquisition processes, and local jurisdictional regulations. The ideal candidate will be a skilled negotiator and communicator, with significant experience in the field of site acquisition and permitting. Qualifications - Must currently reside in/or around Atlanta, Georgia. - Minimum 4-year degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly in site acquisition, permitting, and leasing processes. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Proficient in preparing transaction documents, including leases and easements. - Solid understanding of title reports, encumbrances, and land ownership issues. - Knowledge of zoning and permitting processes. - Experience in project management. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and current registration. Requirements - Willingness to travel 20–40% of the time for site visits, meetings, and jurisdictional interactions. - Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications - 3+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, either in-house or in a fast-paced agency environment. - Demonstrable experience hiring across multiple functions (e.g. tech, commercial, operations, corporate). - Proficiency with an ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter; comfortable working in data-driven recruitment workflows. - Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence, advise, and push back constructively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail. - A proactive, ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously. - Demonstrated commitment to inclusive hiring practices.
