• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement AI/ML models for applications such as predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, optimization problems, or natural language processing. • Analyze large datasets from various sources to extract insights and validate model performance. • Develop scripts or tools to automate data preprocessing, feature engineering, or model evaluation workflows. • Document methodologies and results clearly for internal presentations or reports.

Job Requirements

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical), Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Experience in Python or other relevant languages
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning) and statistical methods
  • Experience applying AI/ML in aerospace context
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for ML workflows
  • Experience working with data manipulation tools such as Pandas or NumPy
  • Experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn

You will have a background in computing science education, mathematics education, or a closely related field, with a track record of having created curricula, resources, learning experiences, or teacher professional development activities.   Artificial intelligence and machine learning applications are already changing many aspects of our lives. Young people who understand how AI works will be better equipped to engage with the world around them, make informed decisions about using and creating AI applications, and choose what role AI will play in their futures. A central part of this role will be supporting and advancing Experience AI, an educational program that offers cutting-edge resources on artificial intelligence and machine learning for teachers and students aged 11–14. Developed in collaboration by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind, Experience AI supports teachers in this exciting and fast-moving area of AI and gets young people passionate about the subject. You will play a key role in adapting, delivering, and scaling this program in the US, while contributing to its ongoing development. This role is based in Georgia, a location in the US where we have an established team. While some work will focus locally, a significant portion will be national in scope, with opportunities to travel across the US.
