Commercial Operations Coordinator

Camber Charging

Role Description We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to support the backbone of our commercial and client operations. This is a cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of contract management, grant development, customer success, and business development — ideal for someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership, and wants to grow with a mission-driven clean transportation company. You'll play a key supporting role managing public agency contracts and procurement relationships, help develop winning proposals and grant applications, and ensure our customers receive responsive, high-quality service. What You'll Do - Contract Administration - Support day-to-day administration of contracts with large public agencies — including transit authorities, municipalities, and school districts — tracking deliverables, deadlines, and compliance requirements. - Maintain organized contract documentation, amendments, and correspondence. - Coordinate internally across teams to ensure contractual obligations are met on time. - Assist with invoicing, reporting, and contract renewals as needed. - Support onboarding of new clients and ensure smooth service delivery of contract requirements. - Serve as a responsive point of contact for contract inquiries and requests. - Grant Writing & RFP Support - Research funding opportunities, RFPs, and RFIs relevant to Camber's services and markets. - Support the development of proposals, grant applications, and qualifications packages. - Maintain a library of reusable proposal content, bios, past performance summaries, and compliance documents. - Coordinate submission logistics to ensure on-time, complete responses. - Marketing & Business Development Support - Help update website content, collateral, and presentations as needed. - Support outreach efforts including research on prospective clients and HubSpot CRM data entry and maintenance. - Assist with preparing materials for sales conversations, and follow-up communications. Requirements - What We're Looking For - Required - 2–5 years of experience in a sales, operations, administrative, or coordination role. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail — you don't let things fall through the cracks. - Strong written communication skills; comfortable drafting professional documents and correspondence. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; comfort learning new tools quickly. - Nice to Have - Experience with government contracts, public agencies, or public procurement processes. - Familiarity with grant writing or RFP response processes. - Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms. - Interest in EVs, fleet electrification, clean energy, or infrastructure. Company Description - Be part of a team accelerating the transition to zero-emission fleets across North America. - High-visibility, cross-functional role with real room to grow. - Work remotely with a collaborative, mission-driven team.
