Structural Welder/Fitter
NANA Construction, LLC
• Plans, lays out, positions, aligns, and fits together fabricated parts of structural metal products. • Welds, tacks and assembles together metal components of products such as modules, structural steel, pipe racks and plate welding with electric arc-welding equipment by performing the following duties. • Works at heights while tied off, assembly & disassembly of temporary structures used during construction. • Spotting for equipment, rigging & signaling as needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent or ten (10) years Structural Welder/Fitter experience will be considered.
- Minimum two (2) years experience as a Structural Welder/Fitter.
- Must be able to pass structural welding test flat, vertical and overhead.
- Knowledge of industrial construction and characteristics of all equipment and functions related to the position.
- Must bring own basic hand tools to job site. List of required tools provided by NANA Construction at point of hire as the job warrants.
- Driver’s license and acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under vehicle insurance policy preferred.
