Clinical Psychologist – Night Shift
DAWSON
• Perform brief, evidenced-based virtual individual and/or group counseling for low to moderate acuity patients with acute mental health conditions • Perform duties as a Practitioner and Consultant in Psychology • Make recommendations on major diagnostics and treatment plans • Provide continuing follow-up care for chronic outpatients with acute disorders • Exercise initiative and sound judgment in case discussions and continuing education • Recommend hospitalization as applicable • Demonstrate an understanding of requirements and benefits of TRICARE • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals • Develop, monitor and document comprehensive treatment plans
Job Requirements
- Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited university or professional school
- Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology
- Two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Psychologist using virtual platforms
- Candidates with less than two years of experience using virtual platforms will be considered
- Must have a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction
- Must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross
