Qualifications - 15+ years of experience leading data engineering, BI, analytics engineering, data architecture, data platform, or data product teams in a SaaS, technology, payments, or data-intensive business. - Deep experience designing and leading enterprise data architecture, including data modeling, data marts, integration patterns, cloud data platforms, governance, scalability, security, and performance. - Strong technical judgment across ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, BI/reporting, data integrations, data quality, observability, and operational reliability. - Experience owning customer-facing or business-critical data products, not just internal pipelines or reporting workflows. - Proven ability to lead globally distributed teams across multiple time zones, with strong operating rhythms, clear communication, and effective cross-region handoffs. - Experience modernizing legacy data environments while keeping financial, customer, or operational reporting stable and trusted. - Strong understanding of data governance, including quality, lineage, access controls, documentation, privacy, security, and client-facing data sharing. - Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including Finance, Product, Engineering, customer-facing teams, and senior leaders. - Strong operating discipline across roadmap planning, prioritization, delivery management, incident response, metrics, and continuous improvement.
