Software Engineer, Embedded/Network Systems I

• Develop and maintain critical software and tools that ensure hardware compatibility, network performance, and security • Work on operating systems, firmware, and networking stacks • Manage time and streamline processes for high-quality solutions • Collaborate with engineering teams across the globe • Solve complex challenges through innovation and precision
Job Requirements
- Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or relevant degree program
- Proficiency in C programming and experience with embedded Linux
- Familiarity with network principles & concepts, routing protocols, and general networking concepts
- Hands-on experience with automation tools and scripting languages (such as Python or Bash)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and their application in software development workflows
- Conceptual understanding or hands-on experience with AI/ML is preferred
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and security protocols is preferred
- Experience with FPGA development is preferred
- Knowledge of signal and power integrity, and PCB design is preferred

Technical Enablement – Documentation Lead

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve Flosum's product documentation across Salesforce DevOps, Data Backup & Recovery, Security, and Compliance modules. • Build and launch the Flosum Certification Program, including learning paths, exam blueprints, hands-on labs, and badge tiers (Admin, Developer, Architect). • Analyze inbound signals — support cases, demo requests, and prospect inquiries — to identify documentation gaps and proactively update content. • Partner with Support to convert recurring tickets into self-service knowledge base articles, reducing case volume. • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to document new releases, features, and APIs in lockstep with the release calendar. • Work with Sales Engineering to ensure demo-driven questions are reflected in public-facing guides and FAQs. • Establish documentation standards, style guides, and review workflows to keep content accurate, versioned, and on-brand. • Track content performance (views, search queries, deflection rates, certification pass rates) and report on enablement KPIs.
