Lead Teacher / Teaching Supervisor
EDGE
• Teach 2-3 classes with small group sizes of up to 10 students, based on our teaching materials • Conduct interviews to hire new teachers • Train new teachers and develop experienced teachers throughout their career • Manage teaching quality via termly assessments and day-to-day support • Manage relief sourcing, termly parent updates vetting, parent feedback and withdrawal matters, etc. • Take charge of departmental initiatives such as teacher huddles, group training sessions, etc. • Support teachers in managing students' progress and parents' feedback
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years in teaching, with at least 2 years in a supervisor role
- Are familiar with Zoom and the Google suite of services (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
- Have a fun and engaging teaching style and can conduct a 2-hour lesson with consistent enthusiasm and energy
- Have a conducive environment in which to conduct online lessons (a well-lit room with a plain wall/background and a strong, stable internet connection)
- Have a great aptitude for teaching and are nurturing towards children
- Are driven and work well in a team as a team-player
- Are responsible with a strong work ethic
- Have prior teaching experience, online or otherwise
- Have prior experience managing a team
- Is a resourceful problem-solver, capable of managing projects end-to-end

• Provide technical oversight and management of the commissioning and field engineering related activities for all the PowerSecure Inc.
