Lead Project Manager, PMO

• As Project Manager in the project management office will lead and manage projects that involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions. • Your role will require strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as effective project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. • You’ll be at the heart of our projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. • Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. • You’ll allocate and coordinate resources, including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials, to keep the project on track. • You’ll provide technical guidance and expertise to our engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes. • Establishing strong communication channels with clients will be key, as you’ll need to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns. • Additionally, you’ll monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure we stay within financial targets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
- Previous experience in electrical engineering, project management, or a related role
- Experience with electrical utilities , electrical system design, installation, and maintenance projects
- Transmission line and Substation experience preferred
- 10 years experience or greater or 5 years’ experience plus PMP
- Curious and active listener : You have a deep hunger to learn, coupled with a willingness to think outside the box. You ask a lot of questions. You recognize there is a difference between “hearing” and “listening.

• Oversee and manage high-impact projects from inception to completion • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements • Act as the point of contact for project stakeholders • Prepare and manage project budgets • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards • Oversee day-to-day project activities and resolve issues
