Senior Production Buyer Planner
Justrite Safety Group
• Maintaining a master schedule for multiple manufacturing production lines • Organizes, formulates, and prepares master schedules to conform with customer specific requirements • Expedites and coordinates detailed scheduling and the systematic release of orders • Performs liaison with Corporate Customer Service, production, engineering, and others on matters pertaining to schedules, production, methods, materials, and designs • Maintains surveillance over orders in process • Assisting in identifying capacity and resource constraints • Assisting with updates to the master schedule • Managing printing and placement of work orders to the production floor • Create job orders in ERP system as needed • Work with production management and teams to identify daily progress and opportunities for improvement • Assist with inventory accuracy, cycle counts and corrections • Purchasing of all raw materials, supplies, and other goods required to support production • Produce daily open order reports, OTD reporting, OEE, or any metrics as assigned • Attend daily manufacturing meetings and other support meetings as required • Support yearly physical inventory • Work with Master Planner to assist with continuous improvement projects • Update the Gemba boards daily • Various production and warehouse reports/projects assigned • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations
Job Requirements
- High level Microsoft Excel knowledge
- High school Diploma or GED
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Organization and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Five plus (5+) years’ experience in planning and scheduling
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in ISO 9001 quality management system or equivalent preferred

• Prosecuting patent applications, including responding to Office actions and communicating with Patent Examiners. • Drafting high-quality patent applications, including detailed written descriptions and figures, to protect innovative technologies. • Conducting and analyzing comprehensive patent searches to identify prior art and assess the patentability of inventions. • Staying up to date on developments in U.S. patent law and relevant technologies. • Meet a billable hour requirement of 1500 - 1700 hours per year.
