Sales Associate
Aesop Auto Parts
• This position is primarily responsible for growing sales in the Region. • Aesop Wholesale Sales Representatives carry out the mission and goals of the Sales and the National Sales Managers to achieve the desired outcomes. • Sells autos, parts and accessories to wholesale parts customers and actively solicits wholesale accounts. • Builds relationships with existing and new customers to continue to create trust. • Represents the company professionally and ethically possessing an elevated level of integrity. • Serves as a relationship manager with all customers. • Maintains and builds relationships with new and existing accounts. • Provides pricing, product information, lead time information, and updates to customers, as necessary. • Calls on automotive wholesale distributors, contractors, and private label partners in sales territory through virtual technology, and phone calls. • Manages existing orders regularly to minimize any issues that may negatively affect the customer experience. • Reports all communication, verbal and written, to the Sales Manager daily.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales to large customer groups or wholesalers.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required with a commitment to act with an elevated level of professionalism during all transactions both internally and externally.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Reacts well and positively under pressure while showing courage and taking action.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word with the aptitude to learn new systems and software.
- Operates office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems, and cell phones.
- Honesty/Integrity. Do not cut corners ethically, always speaking plainly and truthfully.
- Must be able to work collaboratively across functions.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
