Senior Estimator – Industrial Construction, Coatings & Preservation
Agent
• Manage the complete estimating process for industrial coatings and structural painting projects • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for preservation, rehabilitation, and protective coating work • Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements • Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and production costs • Develop estimates for projects involving: - Water tanks - Oil and fuel tanks - Ground storage tanks - Elevated storage tanks - Steel coating and preservation systems • Prepare bid packages, pricing recommendations, and proposal support documentation • Collaborate remotely with internal estimating teams and project stakeholders • Support project handoff activities as needed to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to operations • Maintain organized estimate files, assumptions, and supporting documentation
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of estimating experience within industrial construction environments
- Demonstrated experience estimating structural painting and industrial coatings projects
- Proven expertise with:
- Tank rehabilitation
- Water storage infrastructure
- Oil and fuel tank projects
- Steel preservation and protective coating systems
- Experience owning estimates from initial review through final pricing submission
- Familiarity with US construction standards, specifications, and workflows
- Experience collaborating remotely with US-based teams
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
