Job Description

Senior Estimator – Industrial Construction, Coatings & Preservation

Agent

• Manage the complete estimating process for industrial coatings and structural painting projects • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for preservation, rehabilitation, and protective coating work • Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements • Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and production costs • Develop estimates for projects involving: - Water tanks - Oil and fuel tanks - Ground storage tanks - Elevated storage tanks - Steel coating and preservation systems • Prepare bid packages, pricing recommendations, and proposal support documentation • Collaborate remotely with internal estimating teams and project stakeholders • Support project handoff activities as needed to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to operations • Maintain organized estimate files, assumptions, and supporting documentation

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of estimating experience within industrial construction environments
  • Demonstrated experience estimating structural painting and industrial coatings projects
  • Proven expertise with:
  • Tank rehabilitation
  • Water storage infrastructure
  • Oil and fuel tank projects
  • Steel preservation and protective coating systems
  • Experience owning estimates from initial review through final pricing submission
  • Familiarity with US construction standards, specifications, and workflows
  • Experience collaborating remotely with US-based teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
