SOC 2 Assessor – Part time

• Test and evaluate the operating effectiveness of internal controls against the relevant AICPA Trust Services Criteria (TSC), including: Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, Privacy. • Conduct Gap analysis and readiness assessments to identify and document gaps in the organization's existing controls. • Gather and organize sufficient and appropriate evidence to support the findings. • Compile the results of the audit into a detailed SOC 2 Type 2 report. • Provide recommendations and guidance on remediation and best practices for improving security posture. • Produce and review key performance indicators for implemented security measures and distribute KPIs. • Maintain knowledge of threat landscape by monitoring threat intelligence and other related sources.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of directly related experience in IT security compliance
- Recent experience with SOC 2
- Cloud computing security
- Security governance and policy
- Security risk analysis
- Threat Intelligence
- Incident Management - analysis, detection, and handling of security events
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience (preferred)
- Military and/or practical job experience may be considered in-lieu of formal education, with significant industry certifications.

• Develop and implement the strategies and processes required for participation in wholesale electricity markets, as well as state and utility-run programs. Leap’s current and/or expected market need is primarily CAISO with additional more limited needs in NYISO, ERCOT, MISO and PJM, but experience in any market is welcome and/or desired. • Build and manage financial revenue models for your respective markets / programs; prepare monthly accruals, forecasts and reconciliations to actuals; and coordinate on monthly partner payment activities. • Engage with external stakeholders such as state regulators, program administrators, and Leap’s customers. • Based on your expertise and participation in the above, develop short and mid-term market strategies that help Leap achieve growth in its customer base and revenue in your respective markets / programs. • Work to drive cross-functional coordination with Leap’s other internal teams to achieve Leap’s growth and revenue targets in your respective markets and as a Company as a whole.
