• Lead Complex End-to-End Integrations: Own the integration strategy and execution for high-impact acquisitions — from diligence and pre-close readiness through full post-close integration and handover. • Shape Integration Strategy: Partner with Corporate Development pre-close to assess integration risks, resource requirements, and synergy capture opportunities, influencing deal design and post-close plans. • Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Lead and align workstreams across Product, Finance, Sales, Technology, and Operations, ensuring clear ownership, dependencies, and progress tracking. • Manage Synergy Realization: Quantify, track, and report on strategic and financial synergies identified during diligence, ensuring alignment with executive sponsors and Finance on value realization. • Create Scalable Playbooks: Evolve and mature Stord’s integration playbook — standardizing best practices, templates, and governance structures to support repeatable M&A success. • Ensure Executive Visibility & Accountability: Deliver structured updates to senior leadership, escalating critical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs with clarity and precision.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, corporate development, consulting, or operations strategy, preferably within a high-growth or technology-enabled organization.
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end M&A integrations or major cross-functional programs involving significant business transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive accountability across senior stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial models, KPIs, and operational metrics related to synergy tracking and performance outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences.
  • High attention to detail with a history of building scalable frameworks, project structures, and playbooks.
  • Residency in the UK strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience in post-merger integration, corporate development, or supply chain / logistics technology environments.
  • Familiarity with systems and process integrations across Finance, HRIS, ERP, and WMS platforms.
  • Expertise with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) and dashboarding tools (Domo, Looker, PowerBI).
  • Exposure to pre-close diligence and integration readiness assessments.

Los Alamos National Laboratory's Intelligence and Space Research (ISR) Division designs, builds, delivers, and operates innovative ground-air-space-based measurement systems that support scientific discovery and national security missions. ISR's more than 400 instruments fly on over 200 satellites, including numerous NASA missions such as Voyager and the most recent Mars Rover missions. In this role, you will serve as an integral member of multiple ISR project teams, supporting projects with varying schedules, budgets, technical objectives, procurement activities, and risk profiles. Working closely with project leaders, technical staff, procurement professionals, suppliers, and institutional partners, you will help plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor project activities to ensure successful delivery of mission objectives. Responsibilities may include supporting project schedules, budgets, resource planning, risk management, and project reporting; and it will include executing procurements, evaluating supplier performance, and managing project procurement plans within a dynamic, multidisciplinary R&D environment. The position reports to the ISR-7 Project Management & Execution Team Leader and is a member of the Project Management & Execution Team. The Team Leader and Group Leadership provide line management, mentoring, and professional development support. On any given day, potential responsibilities may include: - Support project leaders in planning, organizing, and controlling resources and processes to achieve project objectives within scope, schedule, quality, and budget constraints. - Support operational planning, cost estimating, task area schedule development & maintenance, and reporting of project execution activities. - Plan and perform procurement and supplier management activities: track supplier performance metrics, project deliverables, milestones, and status information. - Support supplier reviews, corrective action activities, and assist with identification and mitigation of project and supplier risks. - Support project reporting and communication of project status, issues, recommendations, and process improvements. - Understand and comply with Laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
